"It really never is too late! As a young man I lost an opportunity to begin a career in the fledgling computer industry and regretted it for many years. I have had extensive sales experience and had become somewhat jaded and cynical about "success stories," so it was with some trepidation that I called after listening to the radio advertisement and was invited for an appointment to discuss the course. I, Michael Beetar, had agreed to listen to a sales pitch! The presentation was flawless and impressive; however, I am not a man of means and after hearing the cost, I could not relate to the cost versus the reward. Half-way through the course the Career Services took over, I thought the promises of assistance were too good to be true. I went along, and happily, once again, was proven wrong. The Director of Placement went above and beyond the call of duty, producing a winning resume that would be good enough for me to send to Bill Gates himself. (Maybe, I should do that anyway!) I completed my MCP and surprised even myself. In ten days, I will take the MCSA test. I am extremely proud of my achievements and I do not believe that I could have done this with just my family's support. Throughout the course, I found a caring and supportive extended family in the ComputerTraining.com staff. I thank you all for the opportunity. Before the course was completed I had secured a part-time, help-desk position, which I thoroughly enjoy. "I had taken some networking classes when I was a sophomore in College. The instructor was horrible and I quickly decided that networking was not for me. I spent a few years after that taking random courses and working as a plumber. My brother at the same time I was taking my networking classes was going to another networking fast prep course. His experience was horrible in trying to get a job after that and ended up working for $6.50 an hour after basically begging them to hire him. I was so put off but when I looked into getting back into networking years later I met with the team at ComputerTraining.com and thought that everyone seemed very professional and truly enjoyed their jobs. "Before I signed up for ComputerTraining.com I was working in a dead end job at a pizza shop. I was working six days a week, sometimes with a twelve-hour shift. He would know the answer to every question I asked right away. When he would answer our questions he would always give real world examples, which made it very easy to remember. He would not only answer the question but, if it was possible, he would demonstrate it. After the third month of my training I got my MCP certification and Career Services started to send my resume to companies. She did a great job. She would call before the interviews and check on me to make sure that I had everything all set. She would give me advice even though she and I had already had a mock interview. Everything that we talked about in the mock interview was there in the real interview. The employers would also ask me technical questions, but thanks to my great instructor and his knowledge I would answer them right away. I was getting phone calls like never before. Eventually I was getting job offers and I was able to pick which company I wanted to work with. As soon as I got my MCSA I started to pick the companies that I was interested in. Right now I am a System Administrator for Citara Systems. I can't believe in a very short time my life has changed this much. Thanks to my instructor and career services from ComputerTraining.com."
